Overview

Phosy is a local photo organizer app that helps you browse, sort, and manage photos and videos stored on your device.

Phosy runs entirely on your device. It does not connect to any server, does not upload any files or data, does not require an account, and does not track user behavior in any way.

This Privacy Policy explains which device permissions Phosy requests, why those permissions are needed, and how related information is handled.

Permissions

Phosy requests only the following permissions, each with a specific and limited purpose:

Photo Library Access

Purpose: To read and display photos and videos from your device's photo library so you can organize them within the app.
Note: Your photos and videos are only read locally. They are never uploaded, copied to external storage, or shared with any third party.

Location (Photo EXIF Metadata Only)

Purpose: To read the GPS coordinates embedded in photo EXIF metadata, so the app can display where a photo was taken.
Note: Phosy does not access your device's live GPS location. Location data is read solely from metadata already stored inside photo files, and never leaves your device.

Data Collection and Use

Phosy does not collect any user data, including but not limited to:

Personal identifiers such as name, email address, or phone number
Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, etc.)
Usage behavior, interaction logs, or crash reports sent to a server
Photos, video content, or location data
Account credentials — no accounts are required or supported

Any data generated by the app (such as folder organization or labels) is stored exclusively on your local device and is fully under your control.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any data with or to any third party.

Because Phosy collects no data, there is nothing to share. The app does not integrate any of the following:

Advertising networks or ad-tracking SDKs
Analytics services (e.g., Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel)
Crash reporting services that send data to external servers
Social login or third-party authentication systems

Data Storage and Security

Phosy stores no data on any remote server. All app data (such as organization preferences) is saved in your iOS device's local sandbox and is protected by iOS system-level security.

Uninstalling Phosy will permanently delete all locally stored app data. Your original photos and videos in your photo library will not be affected — Phosy never modifies or deletes your media files.

Children's Privacy

Phosy is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since Phosy collects no user data whatsoever, there is no privacy risk associated with children using the app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If there are significant changes, we will notify you via an in-app notice or by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Your continued use of Phosy after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
